The withdrawal of American Troops
A wise man once said, the ultimate reason for war is peace. Meaning that the reason we go to war is to have peace around us. But the war in Iraq executed by our government is generating diver’s opinion amongst the American people. This war seems to be fast losing the support of the American people. The Democratic State Senators are initiating a bill calling for the withdrawal of United Stated troops from Iraq while Bush and McCain are pushing for more troops in the hot spot of the world to maintain peace and regulate security. This people including the house minority Leader Phi Lopes, Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, Sen. Carolyn Allen and Sen. Karen Johnson all duly elected also join in the withdrawal of American troops. Raul Griljalva, Tucson Congressman has also co authored various anti war measures in Washington DC. This is believed to be against the wish of the people.
It is obvious that the good people of America are against the war going in various part of the world initiated by our government. The question we need to ask our government is that, where do they get the funds used in executing these war. If the people are not in support, then why use their money paid as tax to fund a war they are against their wish. I believe this is having adverse effect on the economy leading to loss of jobs with high increasement in tax payment. I will queue behind the Senators and every loving citizen of America calling for the withdrawal of our troops in the volatile regions of the world. The millions of dollars used in its funding should be used for the development and strengthen of the economy. I have no doubt that this Iraq issue will be a factor at the forthcoming Presidential elections. I can’t predict who will win but the America people are tired of wars and the killing of our citizen being killed everyday. We have lost over 500 troops to war in various part of the world. I want the government to withdraw our troops from these death zones where we lose them by the day.
