Dear Hiring Manager:
I am a conscientious medical care provider with more than fifteen years experience making patients more comfortable during trying times in their lives. My primary love and background is in midwifery, though I have concentrated in long-term residential care since emmigrating to the United States.
As you will not from the enclosed resume, I am always learning, seeking additional training which will help make me a better provider for patients and a better employee. I am a certified midwife, certified nursing assistant and certified patient care technician. I also recently completed my certification in daycare management while working fulltime. Many of those management principles can well be applied to time management and patient care in the position you are currently advertised.
My devotion to patient care is evident in the way I perform my job. I believe that every patient has the right to be treated with care and respect, much as I would hope to be treated if the situation were reversed. I take pride in making sure that my patients are as comfortable and happy as possible.
Thank you for taking the time to review my resume and credential. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and discuss how I can help improve patient care at your facility.
