Application for yale
I am an international student from Hong Kong. At present I am 18 years old and I have studied in a community college in MA for 3 semesters. But now I feel its time that I should be moving to an esteemed educational institution for further and higher studies. My first and foremost choice in this case would be a highly regarded, prized and appreciated educational organization like yours. For this reason I am putting forward my candidature as a potential aspirant for your admirable institution.
As I mentioned earlier, I have studied in a community college in MA for 3 semesters and would like to upgrade my ability studying with your edification technique and formats. It is not that I am not happy with my present situation in this community college but like everybody I like to excel in life and yours would be the best possible option I can ever get. Personally, excelling in life is a prime concern for me. In fact, no so for me but for my mother because she is the inspiration in my life and I would do whatever it takes to make her comfortable for the rest of her life. My mother is a wonderful loving woman. After her divorce with my father, my mother supports my study alone. I would try my level best to make her happy.
My favorite major is International Relations, History and Economics and as my basic aim in my life is to become a lawyer or IR affairs officer I feel these majors above would be a good preparation of study law for master degree with your cordial help in this respect under the parameters of your educational system.
I have enumerated my abilities and likings in this application but I would also like to mention the secondary reasons for this transfer to Yale. I am passionate about the Chicago Cubs. I do believe that supporting them for this long has incorporated within me the quality of the cubs by now. I feel their aggressions when ever they take on to field and I do feel the brain waves that are always instrumental in their games. This is the fact I am passionate about the Chicago Cubs because I love their game management strategies and their cumulative aggressions.
But before everything is said and done it should be recognized that without being an outright winner it is very difficult to support and this is true for everything and everybody and the cubs are no exception and that is the time the real test of passion comes into play. That is why with the recent heartbreaks I never gave up the idea of supporting the cubs at any stage for it is often said that “form is temporary and class is permanent”. (Roberts, 102) Now there is something quite interesting between the relation of supporting and being passionate about supporting. It has been seen quite often that we exhale an individual as icon and follow every move of the icon. The main objective behind this psychology is that we often tend to see our self image within that iconic figure. However, it could also be stated that supporting a single individual is a sign of weakness by heart. It is a sign of primitive hero worship where a hero was put up to the level of demigod and all moves of community and individual security was expected of him. But on the contrary being passionate about a specific team is the significance of modern intellectual development as because by supporting a team one is supporting an entire community or simply nurturing an idea that is synonymous to the expected degree. For me, the cubs are synonymous to the word ‘success’ and success is the word that I am really passionate about. I want to formulate a success story much like the cubs and thus they are my perennial inspiration. For the purpose I feel Yale would be the best place to make me able to think structurally. Please accept my application.
